In Your Arms (Full)

"I can hear your heart." She quietly states as she moves her head to the rhythmic and soothing sound of D's beating life pump.

"What does it say to you?" He asks without opening his translucent blue eyes, but lowers his chin to her raven hair feeling its smooth surface.

Black Lotus' lovely face smiles genuinely to his question. "That it's not of stone, that you're not one devoid of emotion. So fast it hums to me it means that you've got what you always wanted...and what you needed after all these years." She relaxes her head on his broad and powerful chest.

"....." D breathes in her sweet scented fragrance of cherry blossom that he had given to her in their travel to the secluded city of Sengar. For a rare moment, his lips curled happily as the scent danced under his broad nose.

"Ah, is that a smile?" She glances at his beautiful face, but the smile quickly disappeared.

"....." He becomes silent.

"Think what you want, I can never tell what's going through your head. But if by all means, it must be worth a smile." The winds picked up a little as they remained sitting on the soft grass in the hills. "And it certainly is worthy of mine, too." Her eyes felt heavy with sleep, and she nestled herself within the warm and comforting embrace of the once lonely-hearted Vampire Hunter D. While her eyes settled in for the setting sun and the night sky drew in, D mumbled quietly at her, making the young woman stir at the vague sound of his low but soft voice.

"Mmm, you...said somethin'?" She mumbled in her drifting dream.

"....." D narrowed his soft eyes as she returns to travel to the dream of the stars and moonlight, wherever it took her he went with. He lifted her slim sleeping figure, walking to their small cabin down from the hill, as he repeated the words, "I said...I love you."

The night blue hue of the sky seemed like they had traveled to another world, for other night was as beautiful as this one. And in his lovely beating heart rekindled by the woman of his deepest dreams he had finally awoken from, was here in his life, to make his heart beat away into a alluring paradise, now and forever.
